Admission Criteria
- Minimum overall GPA 2.500
Intercultural and Global Competency Core (3 credits)
- Completion of 3-credit-hour global experience course. Course number will vary depending on your level of study and geographic region of interest.
- Each course will include at least one country-specific team project, journaling of experiences and a reflection paper.
Total Credits Required for Micro-Credential: 3
Academic Requirements
- Overall GPA of 2.5 is required at the time of application. If your GPA currently falls below a 2.5, address this in your personal statement by indicating your plan to increase it prior to participating in the program.
Learning Outcomes
After completing the micro-credential in Intercultural and Global Competency, students will be able to: - Learn about organizations that exemplify social innovation and entrepreneurial leadership, history, culture and business environments while working on projects specific to each country
- Strengthen their understanding of core skill sets and its application in the global environment
- meet with leaders and entrepreneurs to deepen their knowledge of economic development, social innovation and community engagement
