Human Resources Management Minor

The Human Resources Management (HRM) minor is designed to prepare students for entry-level positions in the HR profession (e.g., recruiter, benefits administrator, or HR assistant) and/or service-oriented industries (e.g., assistant manager in retail or service operations). It will utilize lecture, case studies, teamwork, and hands-on experiential exercises to develop students’ knowledge and skills in HRM. The HRM minor leverages the resources and support of the School of Management (SOM), including the existing Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) student chapter/club.
