Orthodontics MS/Advanced Certificate


The Orthodontics program prepares graduates for a career in clinical and/or academic orthodontics through extensive didactic, clinical and research experiences and techniques in addition to teaching requirements.  At the end of the 36-month program, residents are awarded with a Certificate of Advanced Study and a Master of Science degree in Orthodontics.

Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs)


1) Provide specialized orthodontic care of a very high standard.
2) Students learn how to design, conduct and present results or research/scholarly projects.
3) Provide patient care that is appropriate and effective for treatment of malocclusion and the promotion of oral health across a broad spectrum of case types.
