The MA in Psychology is a research-intensive program designed to deepen students’ understanding of the mind and behavior. The program prepares students for success in research, education and professional fields where understanding behavior makes a difference. Graduates leave ready to enter the workforce or continue their education in areas such as law, business, economics, health sciences, social work, public health, geography and psychology.

3.0 Degree GPA required Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs)
1) Students will exhibit competence in statistical methods. 2) Students will have both broad and deep exposure to current ideas and evidence in the study of behavior. 3) Students will exhibit competence in the execution of a well-organized and thoroughly documented scholarly paper on a substantive topic area in psychology. 4) Students will demonstrate knowledge in ethics in research and responsible conduct of research.
