You’ll receive the same foundational public health education as other concentrations, while tailoring your program to meet your unique interests and a focus on health equity through coursework and hands-on practice activities with an individualized MPH. Study foundations of public health by obtaining a broad overview of theories and principles that advance population health and well-being. As a practitioner with training in core public health principles, you will be involved with advocacy, planning, programming, implementation or evaluation for disease prevention and health promotion. Students in this program also have the option to earn a Micro-Credential in Eliminating Health Inequities.
