The Chemical Engineering PhD program at UB nurtures the next generation of leaders in the field. Candidates pursuing a PhD conduct independent research under the guidance of our faculty experts, developing deep expertise in their chosen area of specialization. Specializations include:

Biochemical and biomedical engineering
Nanoscale science and engineering
Computational science and engineering

CE 561LEC - Applied Chem Kinetics 1 Credits: 3
CE 540LEC - Materials Principles Credits: 3 OR
MDI 5XX - Materials Science and Engiennering Principles Credits: 3

Additional Requirements (9 credits)

CE 599LAB - Supervised Teaching Credits: 3
CE 630LEC - Ce Research Methods 1 Credits: 3 (waived for students who completed MS w/ thesis)
CE 631LEC - Ce Research Methods 2 Credits: 3
