Environmental and Water Resources Engineering MS

Now more than ever, the world needs safe drinking water, clean air, and healthy lakes and aquatic ecosystems. The Environmental and Water Resources Engineering MS program prepares graduates to provide just that. Graduates play a vital role in addressing these environmental challenges through careers in research, government, consulting, or the private sector. 

Electives (18-24 credits)


  • Limit of 6 credits of CIE 501 , CIE 502 , CIE 601  and CIE 602  toward electives.
  • Limit of 6 credits of elective outside of the CIE department and with prior approval from academic advisor. 

Culminating Experience: Exam, Project or Thesis (0-6 credits)


Total Credit Hours: 30
