Accelerated Nursing Admission Criteria

Transfer Admission to the Program

All transfer applicants must apply to both UB and the School of Nursing through Nursing CAS. For Application deadline, visit the School of Nursing undergraduate admissions page. The program begins in May of the following year.

All applicants must possess an earned bachelor’s degree in a non-nursing field and must have completed at least four prerequisites at the time of application. Additionally, applicants must complete all other prerequisite courses before the May start date with minimum 3.000 overall and prerequisite GPAs.

Current UB Students Applying to the Program

All applicants must apply to the School of Nursing through Nursing CAS. For application deadline, visit the School of Nursing undergraduate admissions page. Students must be in progress towards an earned bachelor’s degree and have completed at least four prerequisites at the time of application as well as the ability to complete all other prerequisite courses before the May start date with minimum 3.000 overall and prerequisite GPAs.
