EE 467LEC - Power Electronics Introduction to the broad area of power electronics. Analytical techniques, modeling and simulation skills will be developed through the study of the widely used power converter circuits. Applications include power supplies, electric vehicles, electric ships and aircrafts, and renewable energy systems. This course covers from basic power electronic conversion principles and classic power converter circuits to advanced circuit topologies, control methods, and applications currently being actively developed in the field.
