GEO 367LEC - Urban Social Geography Examines human activities central to the internal working of cities in the context of globalization, fragmentation, and difference. Students will consider theories about how society and space mutually condition each other in processes of social stratification and discrimination that foster class, race, gender, and other differences and cause their expression on the urban landscape.
