ARC 411LAB - Architecture Media 5 Introduces students to techniques for representing and simulating sunlight, daylight and radiance within architecture. Course assignments will develop a range of skills including: proficiency in Autodesk Ecotect; lighting photography of physical models; raytrace and radiosity rendering; relief material models; 3D printing; 2D/3D diagraming of lighting performance; `contour map or `false color rendition techniques. Digital media skills introduced will be coordinated with course material from ARC 301LAB - Architectural Design Studio 5 .
