CIE 441LEC - Pollutant Fate and Transport


Focuses on the physical, chemical, and hydrodynamic processes governing pollutant fate in natural systems. Topics include mass and energy balances, mixing processes, partitioning processes (exchange with solids and air), and particle removal. Examples from natural systems address lake, river, and atmospheric pollution. Environmental Engineering and Civil Engineering majors only.
