ART 380LAB - User Experience Design and Research User Experience (UX) Design & Research is a multidisciplinary approach to creating products, systems, and services that are human-centered and provide a positive and meaningful experience for the people who interact with them. The primary goal of UX design is to enhance the user’s experience by improving the functionality, accessibility, and overall satisfaction during their interaction with a product. UX designers focus on understanding the needs and behaviors of users through research, and in turn, use this information to inform the design process.
In this course, students will gain a comprehensive understanding of UX principles, methods, and best practices through a combination of lectures, hands-on exercises, and projects.
