ART 465LEC - Machine Learning as Cultural Techniques

The goal of the seminar is to explore machine learning as a cultural artifact. The approach is inspired by media theory (cultural techniques) that reevaluates the role of technical processes as ‘material conditions that constitute semantics’ (Siegert2013).
