BE 455LEC - Biomechanics and Mechanobiology This course provides an introduction to both the mechanical behavior of cell and tissues and the biological responses of these biological systems to mechanical stimuli. Topics include subcellular and cellular mechanics, tissue mechanics, experimental methods and theoretical modeling for cell and tissue mechanics, mechanotransduction, mechanoregulation of development, mechanoregulation of diseases, experimental methods for mechanobiology.
