BIO 448LEC - Endocrinology


This course is an in depth look at the endocrine system focusing on the structure, function, and regulation of hormones in human physiology. Students will examine the interplay of endocrine glands and how they maintain homeostasis, growth, metabolism, reproduction, and stress responses. This course also explores the pathophysiology of several endocrine disorders and current research in the field. Students will develop an understanding of endocrine principles and their relevance to health and disease.
