NSG 417LEC - Leading Professional Nursing Practice to Achieve Quality Outcomes The purpose of this course is to prepare the baccalaureate nursing student for transition to professional nursing practice as a leader from the bedside to the boardroom. Emphasis is placed on guiding decisions and collaborative practice through the use of ethical decision-making. Students will be prepared to enter practice with the ability to identify, plan, and implement evidence-based strategies to improve quality, safety, and patient outcomes across diverse populations.
