BE 296TUT - Biomedical Engineering Internship

This course is designed to allow students to gain credit for their Biomedical Engineering degree while applying the skills and knowledge learned at UB to an industry position or research position, typically off-campus. This course is intended to provide credit for opportunities that do not require skills and knowledge beyond the third year BE curriculum. This course is intended for first and second year students, and third year students who have not yet completed half of their third year required courses This course cannot be used to satisfy upper level technical elective requirements. Topics will vary by project. This is a variable unit course, up to three (3) credits. The number of credits to be earned is designated by the number of credits for which the student registers. For each credit hour, a minimum of forty-five (45) hours at the internship or jobsite must be completed.
