CDS 450SEM - Communication in Aging Adults

We will discuss how communication changes with typical aging and common communication disorders in older adults, including hearing loss, aphasia, dementia, Parkinson’s disease, and dysphagia. The focus of this class will be on understanding the impact of aging on communication by talking with an older adult and engaging with research.
