GEO 435LEC - Conservation Biogeography Examines components of biodiversity: what it is, why we like it, where it is highest, and what threatens it. Focuses on the application of spatial solutions to biodiversity maintenance in wildlands, and to biodiversity management in working landscapes (especially logged but also farmed). Case studies and a field trip are employed to explore the usefulness of the methods.
