Admission Criteria
- Minimum overall GPA of 2.500 required
- At least 30 credit hours completed at the time of application
Current UB students wishing to add or change their minor to Education, submit the Minor Application Form.

Electives (11 credits)
Complete a minimum of 11 credits, at least 6 credits at the 300/400 level.
Total Credits Required for Minor: 18
Total Credit Hours Required represents the minimum credits needed to complete this program, and may vary based on a number of circumstances. This chart should not be used for financial aid purposes.
Academic Requirements
- Grades of C or better for all education minor coursework and an overall UB GPA of 2.500 or higher is required to successfully complete the minor.
- Transfer credits will be considered on a limited basis and limited to 3 undergraduate credits.

Learning Outcomes

- Describe the role and responsibility of educators in such a way that recognizes the mutual impact of society and education.
- Identify the complex interplay of factors that influence learning.
- Develop initial skills needed to plan, facilitate, and assess a variety of learning experiences.
- Evaluate personal perspectives about education and the various roles in education.
