- Complete all UB Curriculum requirements except UBC 399 Curriculum Capstone

Total Credit Hours Required represents the minimum credits needed to complete this program, and may vary based on a number of circumstances. This should not be used for financial aid purposes.
Academic Requirements
Students wishing to enter the professional portion of the BS/MS Occupational Therapy program must apply through the Graduate School Application Manager by January 12 of the year in which they intend to begin the program. This includes students who are reapplying to the program. At the time of application, students must have completed at least eight prerequisite courses including ES 207 , PHY 101 , OT 201 , and STA 119 and STA 119 , and seventy (70) hours of volunteer work in a US occupational therapy site providing the opportunity to observe interdisciplinary activities, and observe patients/clients in a variety of settings under the supervision of an occupational therapist. Remaining prerequisite and UB Curriculum requirements, except the capstone, must be completed in the Spring semester with grades of C- or better and a semester prerequisite GPA of 2.800 or above. Students may not take prerequisite courses more than twice and may not repeat more than two prerequisite courses.
Students fully admitted to the professional program must maintain a semester GPA of 2.800 in the undergraduate portion and 3.000 in the graduate portion of the professional sequence.

Learning Outcomes
In keeping with the vision, mission, and philosophy of the University at Buffalo, School of Public Health and Health Professions, Rehabilitation Science Department, and Occupational Therapy Program, graduates of the BS/MS program will:
- Demonstrate entry-level occupational therapist clinical skills.
- Analyze trends in occupational therapy service delivery areas, anticipate changes that may have an impact on practice, and advocate for positive change.
- Demonstrate a commitment to evidence-based practice by both utilizing and contributing to the occupational therapy body of knowledge through research, writing, presentations, or other scholarly activities.
