Current UB students seeking admission to the Anthropology minor should complete the College of Arts and Sciences Major/Minor Change Request Form.

Course Requirements

Anthropology Core (18-21 credits)

Select one focus area from the following five choices: General Anthropology, Archaeology, Cultural Anthropology, Biological Anthropology, Medical Anthropology

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of all requirements, the student will:

Display sophisticated knowledge of core concepts, theories, and methods in cultural anthropology, biological anthropology, and/or anthropological archaeology.
