Education Studies EdM

The Education Studies EdM program does not require a focus area. This program is designed to meet the interests of the student and is tailored to their professional and academic needs. This program of study is targeted at students whose goals are broad, interdisciplinary and flexible. Graduate students can pursue areas of focus allowing them to take maximum advantage of courses and resources in the Graduate School of Education. Please note: focus areas can be created to meet student’s professional goals.

Focus Area(s) Courses (26-32 credits)


With advisor approval, create a focus area(s) utilizing any graduate level courses (500 or above) in Learning and Instruction (LAI), Educational Leadership and Policy (ELP), Counseling, School and Educational Psychology (CEP), and Library and Information Studies (LIS). Please note: LAI 674TUT - Seminar in Teaching , LAI 668TUT - Supervised Teaching I , and LAI 595TUT - Supervised Teaching II  may not be used toward program requirements.
