Admission Criteria
- Must be a current Exercise Science major in the Pre-Athletic Training Concentration
- Complete all prerequisite courses
- Minimum overall undergraduate GPA of 3.000
Current students wishing to pursue the combined Exercise Science BS - Pre-Athletic Training Concentration / Athletic Training MS must apply to the Athletic Traning program during year three. Enrollment is limited. Visit the Athletic Training program admissions page for more information.

Academic Requirements
Students must maintain an overall undergraduate GPA ≥ 3.000 to be eligible for admission to the graduate portion of the program. Students must maintain ≥ 3.000 overall graduate GPA, achieve grades of B- or higher in all graduate courses, maintain Emergency Cardiac Care (ECC) certification and successfully pass all Clinical Integration courses. Students that do not maintain a 3.000 minimum graduate GPA will not be allowed to continue in the combined program but may continue in the BS program in any of the four concentrations.
Program Distinction
A student in this major is eligible for Program Distinction upon degree conferral if the criteria are met. Criteria are found under Academic Honors in the Policy and Procedure section of this Catalog. Program Distinction is noted on the official transcript.
